Action Pack

Everything built, everything outstanding, and the exact steps for the things that need her login rather than mine. Updated 30 August 2026.

1 Hours Confirmed

Confirmed by the owner on 30 August 2026. Use these everywhere, with no exceptions.

Wednesday to Sunday7:00am to 2:30pm
Monday and TuesdayClosed
Google has been corrected and the banner is released to print. Yelp and Visit Placer still publish the previous owner's Tuesday to Saturday schedule, so they remain the highest value fix on this list.

2 Banner and A-frames Built

Artwork, vector logo, QR and the printer spec are done, packaged and released to Bear Print.

Vector logo

Traced from the raster original and colour corrected to the real brand palette. Scales to any size. Supplied as SVG, vector PDF and a 4096 px transparent PNG backup.

QR code

High error correction, decode tested down to a small size. Points at the new landing page, which means the destination can change later without reprinting the banner.

A-frames, 24 × 36

Two identical panels, print ready at 24.25 × 36.25 with bleed. Logo, huge NOW OPEN, and a red UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP ribbon. A second version with the QR added is included.

Landing page

Hours, address, tap to call, directions and the online ordering link. momskitchenauburn.pages.dev

The landing page exists because there was no website to point a QR at. When a real domain is secured it gets attached to this same page as a custom domain, so every printed QR keeps working.

3 Claim Yelp Needs her verification

127 reviews and 41 photos of real equity, currently publishing the previous owner's days.

  1. Go to biz.yelp.com/claim and search Mom's Kitchen, 359 Nevada St.
  2. Verify by phone call to (530) 887-9233. Someone has to be at the restaurant to take it, so do this during service.
  3. Fix the hours to match whatever Leeann confirms in step 1. This is the single highest value edit on the page.
  4. Add the new logo and current photos. The existing photos predate the refresh.
  5. Use the "From the Business" section to say it is under new ownership.
Do not change the business name on Yelp. Yelp treats a significant name change as a new business, which can close the old page and start a fresh one. Reviews and photos do not transfer. The name is staying "Mom's Kitchen" anyway, so just never touch that field and the 127 reviews stay put.

4 Claim Apple Maps Needs her Apple ID

Free, roughly 20 minutes, and it covers every iPhone user asking Siri for breakfast in Auburn.

  1. Go to businessconnect.apple.com and sign in with an Apple ID. Use Leeann's business Apple ID, not a personal one you would rather not hand over later.
  2. Search the business and choose Claim This Place.
  3. Verify by phone call or text to the business number. If Apple will not offer phone verification because the listing looks new, upload a lease or a utility bill showing the business name and address.
  4. Finish verification within 14 days or the claim expires.
  5. Only after verification can you add hours, photos, description and attributes. Fill in every field, and use the same hours as everywhere else.

5 Toast and DoorDash Needs full Toast access

You only have website level access right now, which is not enough to configure this.

  1. Get Toast Web admin access from Leeann. Ask her to add you as a user with Menu and Integrations permissions rather than sharing her password.
  2. In Toast Web, open Menu Builder and set the menu's visibility to include Online Ordering: Partners. The integration silently sends nothing without this.
  3. Start the DoorDash integration from Toast. A separate DoorDash account is not required, one can be created during setup.
  4. Toast builds the store and menus on their side. Budget 3 to 4 days and wait for their confirmation email.
  5. Place a live test order before announcing it anywhere.
The integration itself is free to add. DoorDash's own marketplace commission still applies, which is a conversation worth having with Leeann before switching it on, given the margins on a breakfast house.

6 Facebook, Instagram and the pipeline Needs her access

The pipeline cannot be wired until the accounts exist and are connected properly.

  1. Create a Facebook Page for the business. There is still no page under the current ownership, and the old Pappas page outranks everything.
  2. Convert Instagram @moms_kitchen_auburn to a Business account if it is not already, and link it to the new Page.
  3. Have Leeann add you in Meta Business Suite with admin rights on both. Do not work off her personal login.
  4. Once connected, the drop folder pipeline can be pointed at the pair. Her team drops photos, the logo gets applied, and it posts.
  5. Keep the credentials isolated to this client. No shared tokens with the other restaurants.
Worth telling her: the Instagram account has 81 followers and has not posted since 14 July. The pipeline solves the reason it stopped, which was that nobody had time to post during service.

7 Also worth doing, from the audit

Visit Placer listing

The county tourism site still shows a 6am open, Tuesday to Friday, closed Sunday, and links to the old owner's Facebook. Free to get corrected, just email them.

Ordering link everywhere

The Toast ordering page has no link from the Instagram bio or any listing. Put the landing page link in the bio and the ordering link on Google.

The two dead domains

Still unrecoverable without knowing who holds them. Ask Leeann who built the website and check her card statements for GoDaddy charges on 15 and 23 June.

Google ordering and photos

You already have Google access. Add the ordering link, the new logo, and current photos while you are in there. Highest leverage profile she has.

8 What to ask Leeann for, in one message

The single ask list

  • Toast Web admin access, added as a user rather than a shared password
  • Meta Business Suite admin on Instagram, plus permission to create the Facebook Page
  • Who built the website in June, and any GoDaddy receipts or charges around the 15th and 23rd
  • Her business Apple ID, or 20 minutes with her to do the Apple Maps claim together
  • Someone at the restaurant during service to answer the Yelp verification call
  • The real menu, so the landing page can carry it instead of linking out
